About Us

Home Status Inspection Company, LLC is an independent, locally owned and operated home inspection company based in Haymarket, Virginia. Home inspections are our only business. We do not do contract work for our home inspection clients. We are not influenced by agents or sellers who may want us to gloss over problems that we find. Our job is to provide you with a comprehensive, fair, and objective evaluation so that you can make the best decisions regarding your valuable investment.

I love old houses and much of my hands-on knowledge came from a complete restoration of a run down 80 year old farm house in Broad Run, Virginia to its former elegance. On my own, I built the contemporary energy efficient house my wife and I have lived in for 29 years, including passing code inspections on all systems.
